Six Sigma Business ImprovementsWebinar Course Description Using the Buker, Inc. Six Sigma Model, which has been developed based on the DMAIC process (define, measure, analyze, improve, control) we will discuss how to align the business, the people and develop a means to accelerate change to achieve the business imperatives of the organization. The focus will be on three areas: 1. Business direction defines the elements of Six Sigma with an objective of ensuring value add for the customer and the business. The elements discussed are identifying business opportunities, voice of the customer, voice of the business, sponsors, champions, process mapping and team guidelines. 2. Ownership explains the elements of Six Sigma in the area of ownership with an objective of developing a business with high levels of individual performance and process reliability. The elements discussed are process ownership, black belts, green belts, mentoring and coaching and performance measurements. 3. Technical and Practical Solution is defining the elements of Six Sigma with an objective of providing the highest reliability of quality, service and delivery of all products and services. The elements discussed are variation, data analysis, statistical tools and product and process capabilities. The five steps to successful Six Sigma implementation are described. Steps discussed are from the experiences of successful practitioners of Six Sigma companies. This section provides the attendee with a proven methodology for making Six Sigma happen in their company.
