A.W. Chesterton Company is a diversified
manufacturer of mechanical seals, packings, and technical products
headquartered in Stoneham, Massachusetts. The company's management team turned
to Buker to lead them in their pursuit of excellence. Within two years, two
division were awarded Class "A" status. Inventories dropped by as much as 49%,
customer service reached levels of 99% and manufacturing performance soared to
